This is the most up-to-date and cutting-edge email marketing software I have used so far. It's pretty easy to learn and easy to use. I like that it is able to clean up existing email lists and ensures that you are sending quality emails to quality lists.
The software only allows you to use its features on one website. This was deeply disappointing because my business has always had more than one site to promote and sell our services. They don't even offer a universal embed code for online forms that can be used on more than one site. I know we're not the only business that has more than one website, so I hope they eventually allow you to integrate the software in more than one place.
Ominisend is allowing us to automate an email newsletter in ways we couldn't do before.
Omnisend has great automations to help boost sales and traffic. I've definitely found a benefit to using omnisend because of the automation. The pop ups also help bring new customers.
At times it can be a bit buggy, I've found issues when creating emails that just make it take longer which I don't enjoy

I wish you could connect two Shopify stores to one email account (without having to swap between accounts) as this is something Mailchimp does. Otherwise, I wish you could add additional data to your audience, such as assigning customer lifetime value that isn't just a tag. I also would like the Shopify app to have functionality to stop certain emails from syncing to Omnisend either by domain or tag. I also would like more updated and better-looking email templates like Flowdesk. Also when adding images to emails, it's annoying not being able to drag and drop multiple images instead of having to click upload and the uploading one by one. Once again, this is standard in Mailchimp.

I like the simplicity and specificity of the automation workflows. I can easily create automation with whatever condition I want. I also like the responsiveness and help of customer support.
I dislike how difficult it is to get started when you're not using a partnered web platform. Also, I dislike that I cannot customize to the extent I want in the email builder.

Email marketing is made very simple with a built-in drag and drop editor. The automation is also very simple to use allowing us to channel traffic through filters so emails are better tailored for customers.

I like the ease of moving sections and that I can simply copy email campaigns to repurpose for new ones (makes it easier to keep footer, logo and formatting in place so I don't have to redo). A little more challenging to get acquainted with automation and workflows - took me a while to make edits to an automated email. I also feel fonts are a bit limited. I have to go in and adjust fonts/colors continually with each campaign which gets to be timely.

The pricing is slightly on the upper end as per market standards, and the plans are not that customizable. The plans are expensive and for a young brand like ours its difficult to spend without the returns expected.
Abandoned Cart checkout emails are super helpful for us, and we have realized a three-fold jump in revenue generated through email sources from these campaigns.
