I truely love the simplicity of the server
The pricing is highly unfavorable compared to other leading competitors
I'm starting to recognize the key retention slogans
Aweber is easy to use and offers basic email marketing features.
It's difficult to segment a list, or to create automations based on a prospect's behavior.
I was able to keep in contact with my list and run limited sales campaigns.
Weber offers excellent customer support with short wait times for phone support calls.
Better ability to segment users at a state level via IP address would make AWeber far better suited to my needs.
We have grown our email list using AWeber and while the ability of users to sign up to multiple emails via a checklist would be a great feature, we have utilized automated emails via RSS feed to grow a highly segmented interest-based list which has yielded tremendous results.
I like that Aweber is very good with deliverability. It is also easy to use and it takes no time at all to send an email to your list. I like that you can import contacts in bulk as well. You can usually reach customer service via the website chat (however it takes some searching to find the button).
If you have multiple lists, there's no way to quickly know who opened what the email you sent to all the different lists without opening up each list and searching for that info. That's just a waste of time! I also don't like that the system keeps going down for random reasons. I also didn't like that as they were working on the system to improve the data reliability, we had no idea about that. So the system was just giving out the wrong click through rates for the longest time. They kept telling me they were working on it but that didn't help much. They have a feature where you can tag people in your list but i have no idea how that works. It looks too confusing.
It helps me stay connected to my community. I like that it tells me pretty quickly what is happening once I send an email out.
The thing I like about aweber is that they are one of the oldest and most trusted e mailing software in town. They have been around a number of years. I have used them as my go to email service for the last 5 years, there is nothing more reliable. The best thing about them is that they have a spam checking system that will help you avoid hitting the spam box. we all know the spam box is the last place you want your news letter to end up inside of. This is the best thing about there service.
The thing that I do dislike about them is that they always raise there price, and it has changed so many tiems and usually more money.
The problem I was solving using aweber is odviously sending out my emails to my customers and this is what it does.
Creating emails to go out when you want them. Creating auto responders. Being able to send people via lead magnet into specific lists for classification. Service team is responsive.
templates are extremely I difficult to work with. Adjustability is terrible. Integration with other systems such as lead pages is not clear.
True to create a community to solve common goals. So far, not financial benefit. Email list is slow growing.
I like the ease of the template. For someone that's not super tech savvy, I find putting together an email blast to be pretty intuitive.
I originally disliked the inability to import subscribers without having them re-opt in but it looks like that has now been taken care of.
I find that I am able to keep in touch with my subscribers and keep them aware of news and products. I have seen our subscriber based more engaged.
The live customer support help line. Many of the features.
The program freezes up some times. All the features don't always work. It is slow.
I stay connected to my list easily. I can share personal photos and videos with my tribe. It's easy to format and design a custom email
Easy of interface and reporting of performance
When you make changes to your interface that require extra time when I hadn't planned on learning something new.
Shareholder communications, flow of key pieces of the story and in a timely fashion
- The performance of the product - Reliability - Super fast customer support - Amount of services Aweber integrates with
Overall i dislike the lack of flexibility. A big one for me is the ability to subscribe people with different offers to one list. For this to be possible it should link the first message with an optin form. This is the most prominent example of lack of flexibility in Aweber and there are more examples where customers need to find a work around to make Aweber work for their purposes. For some other projects i use competitors because they offer more flexibility in use of their product.
My business sells digital products online, i use aweber for marketing and mailing customers.
I like the ease of creating campaigns and duplicating them.
No feature to allow us to easily send people to other lists based upon actions.
Auto responder for sales. Increased sales with less effort.
Very easy to use and lots of integrations to get you up and running quickly. Easy editor and continual improvements in usability.
No way to create customized automated or event based emails. Once client list reaches over 10k difficult to manage effectively.
Effective customer interaction emails and to improve the on boarding process of SaaS application.
It automatically syncs with some web site platforms easily. It's professional and capable of so many functions to help you with getting your brand out there. Templates are provided to get you up and running fairly quickly.
You are charged money whether or not you send emails. Be careful of your incorrect email subscriber addresses - you'll get charged for having them on your account, even if they're not actually receiving your emails. You can't use Amazon contacts.
I've been sending out professional e-newsletters to my subscribers. Tracking is easy.
When using AWeber I liked their interval email system the best.
Although I liked the interval email system, it was a bit difficult to setup and even more so to troubleshoot.
We used AWeber for general contact purposes to our client base. Interval emails setup after they purchased a service from us.
I really love how easy the platform is to use.
The platform is a little glitchy sometimes.
We needed a way to organize our opt-ins and market to individual lists and groups. AWeber makes it easy to create and manage lists, create newsletters/promotions/email campaigns, and track our success.
It's compatible with tons of third party software, which makes it an incredibly powerful email marketing tool.
They don't have a freemium model for customers with a smaller list (unlike MailChimp).
I can stay in touch with my readers through autoresponers and broadcast messages. No other tool has been better for CRM.
I like the simple UI for creating text-only emails.
Features that should be included at this price point are not. Certain necessary functions like re-ordering emails, etc. are not possible.
I stopped using it, went to Mailchimp which isn't great but is much better for the price.
Whenever I create new email lists and require “confirmed opt-out” my experiences with customer service has been excellent. I typically use the live chat feature and they respond very quickly. Also, I do get an affiliate payment for anyone I refer to Aweber and decides to continue after the 30 day trial which is nice.
As I am a digital marketer I have found that Aweber is quite difficult setting up a new list that reference anything about making money online even though the business is reputable. They will literally hold any emails I broadcast and won’t release until I provide further explanation on what I do.
Aweber allows me to capture leads that I can use to market my services and business opportunities.
I like the simplicity of use and the amount of lists you can create in Aweber.
I wish Aweber had more features pertaining to automations, tagging, split-testing and workflows.
Email marketings and list segmentation. I enjoy the simplistic set up.
Different pricing structure according to number of subscriber. Plus quarterly , yearly plans . All features are available on all plans
if we to more then 25000 subscriber we nead to contact the company, because there are no custom plans
targeted emails , staying in touch with costumers as its great marketing tool
