While the rank tracking feature is pretty good, there is still a lot of improvement for the research module.

We mostly benefit from the rank tracking feature. In addition to that, we use the site audit module to have high-level data on website health.

The strongest side of Serpstat is keyword research. It's super fast and easy to get tons of good keywords. Outstanding API access for all pricing plans. And even now that Ukraine has been attacked by Russia: * not a split-second of down-time * the app is continually developed further - rapidly! * the quality of their database stays very high (I use several SEO tools and I routinely compare search volumes, positions etc.) A few points I noticed in the years I have been using Serpstat: Credits: If you want to do something, go ahead, do it. You will not run out of credits. Everything is calculated very generously. Keyword research: * Organic keyword research is superb, with powerful filter options, related keywords, keyword suggestions etc. * Good PPC keyword research function, but it's the organic research where Serpstat excels * Lots of cool features like you can upload a keyword list to get keyword suggestions for all keywords in your list. * Filters. They are powerful. Choose AND or OR logic, combine filters, save filter configurations ... These filters are available throughout all the functions. * Clustering function Technical audit: * Solid audit function with many parameters, nothing spectacular, but fit for purpose Backlinks: * In general a basic backlink tool, but has special features like an overview over outgoing links, scanning for malicious link donors etc. Again, lots of powerful filters. Service: * Super fast response of their people using the chat function. * If you report a problem, they research it thoroughly. If it's your mistake, they help you how to use their product properly. If it's a bug, they fix it and tell you when it's done. * If you ask for a new feature, there is a good chance they will consider it. API: * API access is included in every pricing tier. The keyword traffic estimates seem too high. The backlink tool does not have a page-level authority value, only domain-level. They told me they are working on a new PPC keyword tracking functionality. The current PPC keyword *tracking* function is quite basic.

We use Serpstat mainly for keyword research in German and English, technical audits and keyword tracking. It excels in all these fields. We use Majestic for link building, but Serpstat's backlink tool is a good supplement with some functions Majestic does not offer. We use the API to streamline keyword research and to alert us to technical problems and backlink anomalies.
