Rolling out Personio has made not only the lives of our HR Department easier but also the employees love the possibilities of the software. We all enjoy that we can do almost everything in one place now. The whole recruiting process, performance and also the administrative part - from the digital personal files to On- and Offboarding to requesting absences. We are all very pleased with Personio! Especially their customer support and overall handling and offerings for the Personio community.
I think the report system does has its flaws here and there and has room for improvement. The overall available reports are fine but I am really hoping to see Personio evolve here further as well and really enable us to use Personio as well to make HR more data-driven.
The automated workflows are really doing us a big favor. Couple of things we particularly like: - Automated Interview Scheduler - Requesting recruiting comments from the department managers - E-Signatures and Contrat/Document Management - Candidate Profiles turn easily into Employee Profiles - Almost complete and automated individual On- and Offboarding Processes - Requesting absences has never been easier - Personio reminds everyone of their To-Dos, so I don't have to do it ;)
Personio deckt alle HR Bereiche lückenlos ab! Eine Fullservice Lösung, die für uns diverse Tools der Vergangenheit unter einem Dach vereint. Das Onboarding war sehr ausführlich und der Service (Hotline) ist äußerst kompetent, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Die Weiterentwicklung von Personio ist rasant fortschreitend.
Preislich hat Personio seit 2019 strak angezogen, was es für uns als mittelständisches Unternehmen schwierig macht mitzugehen.
Die Multiposting Funktion bietet für das Recruiting eine enorme Zeitersparnis.

What I love about Personio is that it is the one stop shop for all our HR information. As an SME we had been relying on SharePoint to store all our HR information and this was cumbersomeand admin heavy, with Personio we can store all the relevant information in one location with no trouble accessing for individual employees. It is an easy to use platform and any new issuer will have no difficulty getting used to the using the system. My favourite feature is the ORG chart provided for all the employees in the organisation so you can know who's who.
I have no major dislikes for the Platform - its a new platform, things take time. If you have an idea that would improve the system you are able to post in their Ideation forum to drive change.
Streamlined our HR documentation process, accessible information for everyone in the organisation.
Personio is now at a point in which the fundament and house built upon are at a satisfactory status. They now started to actively approach their customer base and ask them "what would you like us to build next" And now we start to add most useful tools to the environment. The recruiting tool is most satisfying, and soon we will see a scheduling addon which makes the the whole hiring cycle very pleasant since we can focus on humans, rather boring processes.
There is not that much I dislike at this point; If I had to come clear, and push for something that is not quite right yet, It would be the fact that some functions, that are definetly excisting in thei backend, are not available in their fronted, such as "Pulk download of CVs" for instance. A function that would not need thta uch developpment, since the fundament is definetly there. So in short, they should deliver more smaller functions as well rather than focusing on "the prestige projects"
WIthout Personio, I would be overwhelmed by my daily tasks in HR. Recruiting alone needs to be a clean process with clear roles, and this is exactly what I receive; ALso the most satisfying part is when we convert a candidate to a member of our organization. A great benefit here for instance is that personio allready comes with a certain share of digital signatures that can be offered within the automated contracts,.. wonderful!
We looked at various HR system suppliers across the marketplace but none could offer the range of functionality offered by Personio - eSigning, Recruiting, Automation all under one service.
The implementation process can take quite a while and is complicated in places. We had an implementation manager who was very attentive to try and reduce the effect of this but do realise this isn't really an off-the-shelf product.
Centralising HR services, reducing repetitive admin, streamlining costs by reducing the reliance on a number of different 3rd party services, modernising systems, limiting wasted opportunity with internal recruitment and making life easier for our staff to find the important information which is relevant to them.
The onboarding process was very well structured, and the customer support was very friendly and helpful.
There were no mature issues. The support was very flexible and adaptable to our needs.
Personio is an end-to-end HR solution. We want to improve our efficiency by covering the entire process.

What I value the most about the Personio implementation process is the support and follow-up provided by María Laura Arauco, who at all times has been able to answer questions and guide us in account adjustments. He has also shown a lot of interest in everything going perfect. On the other hand, I have also been very satisfied that two reviews of the account have been carried out, the first by María Laura and the other by the technical service team.

Personio allows you to centralize information in a single tool and streamline human resources processes as well as communication with employees. In adicction one of the features is to be able to sign documents through the platform
Personio is user-friendly and customizable. In fact, we have entities in different countries with different laws and regulations. Personio can adapt to all situations.
The downside of Personio is that there are no operational tutorials to be sent to employees.

- Employee development should be better mapped through Personio (e.g., competency profiles, more flexibility in interview and evaluation templates) - Exporting the recorded working time allocated to specific projects is cumbersome and there is no calculation with hourly rates ->These suggestions for improvement have already been accepted by Personio and will be implemented soon
Through Personio, we have a clear, uniform candidate management system, a time recording system, and we can manage our personnel data in a data protection-compliant manner.

When our business choose Personio we did so because firstly, it is a modern easy to use the system in the cloud but also is a true single source of truth. There is a great support team in the background ready and willing to assist and the product continues to develop with our growth.
There is nothing that can be disliked about this system. Compared to other systems, Personio wants to get better and grow. The Personio Community is a great place to share ideas with the team directly at Personio but also check out other HR professionals' opinions where you can support them and comment.
Being the first people professional in my organisation that has been in business for 20+ years, I needed that single source o truth along with simplistic automation making people processes more lean and efficient so that I am not spending all my time doing people administration and continuous data inputting as I have other priorities.
I like the excellent overview of all employees, the recruitment phases and the extra's such as an organogram. Apart from that, I really liked the contact with Mara, she helped us implement it. Great communication and fast responses.
The only thing that would be really nice to add on is that you can reject applicants immediately without having to create them as an applicant first.

During implementation, Personio didn't give you advice on how to set up specific HR processes. That is ok, but I would have liked some insights on how other clients we needs/settings similar to ours have set up some processes.
Everything is much more efficient and transparent. A lot of services/processes are now directly on the hands of the employees, reducing the amount of requests to the HR team.
Very easy to configure and adapt to business needs. Strong workflow process. Easy electronic files recording and e-signature.
Talent and training management could be improved.
All employee data centralised and accessible to employee, manager and HR.
It is giving us the opportunity and flexibility we need with our fast growing company. There are numerous challenges like a constantly growing number of employees and hierachy levels. With its constant developing of new features and API we feel confident to be able to tackle the challenges of the furture. In addition to that we are running our entire recruting with Personio.
Some new fetures could have been deployed faster. It would be nice to assign deputy roles.
Our main challenge is the rapid growth of the organisation. Therefore we need to be able change positions, teams and hierachy levels constantly. Furthermore Personio is giving us the opportunity to manage large teams with regard to taken holidays and time of and make sure that everyone can work from home when needed. A huge benefit is the API. We are starting to use it with our software for a flexible booking of tables and workingstations. This aspect specifically is new to us and we are happy that Personio is giving us the flexibility we need.
