Personio has solved almost all of my issues related to HR management, and I am using it as the core HR tool. The most important features I am using with Personio are deriving HR strategies for the organization, salary and compensation management of the employees, tracking attendance, accessing employee data and documents, WO approvals for employees, recruiting and talent acquisition etc. Personio has excellent solutions for everything needed to perform my routine job, significantly increasing my agility and efficiency.
The automation capabilities are fantastic. We can literally trigger approval flows based on what someone's entered into a form field. It saves us a huge amount of time and has made hybrid work much more doable for us.
1. There aren't many places we can turn to for tutorials. The support team takes a while to get back and there isn't much of a forum we can look at when we're stuck trying to do something. 2. The attendance dashboard has an eternal bug that says everyone's at the office every day when we know they aren't.
Before implementing Personio, we had to manage payroll, employee surveys, compensation, and more by hand, which was very tedious and time-consuming. Compensation was, in particular, very problematic for us. But with Personio, our employees go in and fill out their application form with their documents etc., and then it automatically gets sent to each supervisor to be approved one by one, and that's it! This alone used to take us a bunch of time to do manually. By automating these processes, we've saved at least one person's worth of working hours and reduced the risk of human error.

It comes with Time tracking, attendance management, Employee onboarding, offboarding, Payroll management, performance management, and a talent management system. Compared to other solutions, this is an all-in solution for simple companies. Instead of juggling around multiple tools, this can be a single window for the management of employees. The Zapier integration is beneficial, and many things can be done using it.
Modules like hiring, and application tracking need a lot of improvement, but the system is straightforward for simple companies.

What we don't like about Personio is that there are some restrictions in setting up accrual practices based on Finnish law regarding annual leave. The Personio team is aware of the problem and is trying to solve it, but the reporting tools also suffer from severe limitations at the moment - which means that users have to do more work manually.

I dislike the lack of transparency with Personio when it comes to recruiting options and costs. It is not always clear what costs are involved or how they are calculated, even when they are included in a profile. In addition, their restriction of only allowing one billing address limits our ability to efficiently access resources or support in multiple locations without incurring repeated payments for each location served.
By using Personio, I'm able to save time and energy that would otherwise be spent on tedious administrative tasks. Automating this process also ensures consistent accuracy of employee information and payroll processing, which makes my job much easier.
