The customization of the layout template and add-in boxes . I also love the ease of access and how fast you can create a flyer and upload email lists and group the way you want. List can be added by CVS file, copy and paste, etc.
The campaign backgrounds are very simple - no stripes, polka dots, patterns, etc. Most emails do end up looking similar because of this limitation. There is also limitation of editing in the text fields and customizing texts with symbols.
Our team has been using Mailchimp for Real Estate marketing. It has benefited in announcing Open House and New Listing ads that "pop" to local agents! We also use it for sending monthly newsletters to our clients on another list. We have benefited from the "Replicate" campaign feature when re-sending the same listing out or making minor adjustments to our client newsletter.
The best part of Mailchimp is the ability to create content such as weekly/monthly newsletters and sent them to your subscribers instantly.
The most disliked part of Mailchimp is that is can be somewhat difficult to start off building a newsletter. It took myself a few weeks to be able to fully understand Mailchimp and its abilities.
The problem we are solving is sending out a monthly newsletter and the benefits we have realized are an increase in subscribers and an increase in our performance metrics.
Having multiple lists permits targeted emails. Multiple lists also helps to reduce sending emails with content that is not of interest to the customer. There is also the ability to get reports that show how much response was achieved with the email campaign.
The editor is a little limited in its capability but is sufficient to make good looking emails. There is not much to dislike. Everything works and is easy to use so it is hard to write about the things that I do not like.
Easily send emails to customers and get a report of the marketing performance so improvements can be made.
I love that Mailchimp is free and user friendly.
The app isn't as user friendly as online.
As a traveling piano and voice instructor, it is sometimes challenging to communicate all the important announcements to my customers/students during lesson times. Mailchimp provides a free and user friendly option to send monthly newsletters, allowing me to successfully inform all my customers/students about important information through email.
The ease of use. You can edible create campaigns that look great with their templates and easy to use software.
It’s a bit difficult figuring out how to import email lists.
Reaching multiple customers with a click of a button.
Pricing structure and the fact that it is cloud based
12,000 emails for the free plan is quite limited and transferring lists requires re-opt-n process which is time consuming
Ability to send out targeted marketing campaigns to a segmented list
I like being able to create email lists, and having templates available that i can personalize. The business analytics are helpful as well.
Sometimes the customization isn’t as extensive as I’d like when I’m creating content from templates. I wish it allowed for more freedom to move/resize/change what goes where.
It helps to schedule and create communication that easily goes out to our entire network. We use it to help fundraise and to keep our church informed of what’s going on.
Mailchimp is a software that allows to connect my work tools that I have already been using for digital marketing business solutions, I can automate my work of sending emails one by one to each of our clients and prospects, with this saving time and money of course , aside from that I get more potential customers that take my brand to a higher level than the one I already was. Usually I spent a lot of time sending emails to my clients but now I already automate it and I have more free time to make improvements in communication with our customers and followers.
I do not like that after the subscription with them, they send me a lot of publicity trying to sell me more things that I do not need, this even though I requested that they not do it. It's something they should improve
My main problem was to be able to save time in the communication of my clients via email, I did not have it automated but then a colleague recommended me Mailchimp and I could program my emails, automate my email marketing, boost my brand and above all what I most wanted , save time. This great tool gives me the advantage that I can test it for free if I have two thousand or less subscribers in my email list, later I can buy a subscription according to my list, and I can connect it with other business solution software that I already have I come using
How you can automate everything to you your customers. Quick and easy
Hard to chat with the carrier. Finding the right forums can be challenging
You can show up consistently for your customers really well
I love how easy it is to make a template, organize groups for emails and send campaigns.
I would have to say that CRM integration could be easier.
Getting email campaigns out to a high number of recipients
Mail Chip was so easy to use as a beginner. I loved using it so much and it made it so easy to send out my newsletters.
There isn't much I dislike about Mailchimp. It was super easy to use.
I use it to send out email newsletters.
The templates and design. MailChimp has several preset templates that make it easy for you to start and send out a new campaign.
The dashboard and user interface. Sometimes getting your email batch set up initially can take some time.
Communication to donors and clients.
The integration with Shopify makes email marketing and customer rentention automated so I can focuse more time on products and sales.
There wasn’t anything that I disliked with the product
Automated pre and post sale follow ups
I love the simplicity of the program and how easy it is to create a campaign to send out to all of our members. MailChimp makes it easy to find statistics for each campaign and it breaks everything down into categories, making it easy to keep track of all of the important details. Mailchimp is especially great for anyone to use, whether you are computer savvy or a beginner.
There is nothing with Mailchimp that I dislike. Everything works perfectly for what I need it to do.
We send out mass emails every week and Mailchimp makes it easy to schedule multiple campaigns to reach our audience. The benefits of Mailchimp are great because we can customize each campaign to fit the needs of our message.
I like the way MailChimp is organized to help you group different audiences into lists, and the templates they provide for creating sharp, professional looking emails.
MailChimp occasionally changes up elements of the tool and it can be challenging to adjust to the new way when you're used to the "old" way.
I send targeted messages to specific audiences as needed. The reports on who opens and take actions within the emails is always valuable information.
Being able to send out our monthly fliers to hundreds of our customers within minutes
Wish it was a little easier to manipulate entering new campaigns
providing our monthly fliers to our customers
I love our new MailChimp account. We have used it to get information, flyers and other information to our members.
I haven't found anything about Mailchimp I don't like yet.
Ability to organize content, and track who received it and who opted out.
I like the editing interface the best. Easy to customize.
Template creation can be a bit confusing.
Reporting solutions. We benefit from the ease of use.
The strength of MailChimp is ease of use. The interface is intuitive and easy to use. You can create templates to start email campaigns. I really like the automated email features, too. I set up a 7 day series of emails. Mailchimp made it easy to create a custom form for people to sign up. They automatically receive the first email. On each of the next 6 days they receive the rest of the messages. The reports feature is also very extensive, making data tracking very easy and helpful. Finally, it is free to get started, and you can send a lot of emails before you ever pay for anything.
The only feature I don't like is the text formatting. I like to put a heading or headline above the body text. But when I highlight the text and change the formatting, it often doesn't change or changes everything beyond what is highlighted. The font sizes are also difficult to work with. This can be very frustrating and time-consuming.
MailChimp solves the problem of mass marketing via email and of marketing effectively to segments of our audience/customers. We can quickly and easily produce great looking email campaigns.
Mailchimp is easy to use and set up for first time users with a small list. It is still easy to use with huge lists. We would never use anything else. We recommend it to all of our clients.
We really don't dislike anything about Mailchimp.
We use Mailchimp to stay connected to past clients that may not communicate with us regularly in any other way. We find that even years down the road, they will contact us for updates or other services we offer because they saw our email.
