I love that I can auto post and schedule posts in later for my social media. Previewing and curating have never been funner or easier as they are using this service!
To pair to mul;tiple acct, you have to pay for service but it is a minimal fee at least.
I am able to post one post/picture across multiple social media platforms at a time, saving time and having fun while doing it!
Later has a very user-friendly interface, it is very easy to use and they are constantly rolling out new features that make social media scheduling easy! Their customer service is very responsive and helpful.
The connection to the different social channels expire frequently but it is probably due to API updates and not a Later issue. The free plan offers very basic features.
Later really keeps up with the most recent social updates. With Later we are able to schedule out Instagram stories and posts, add location, tag people and even add the first comment to posts. You can even edit images in the app!
Not only is Later affordable for all small business, but it allows us to schedule across multiple social platforms, sends us reminders, and provides detailed analytics. It also connects to Link in Bio, which is an awesome integration!
You still can't schedule carousels in Instagram or tag in locations/other pages on Facebook, but I'm not sure if that's a limitation of Later or of Meta.
We do all of our social media post batching through Later on both Instagram and Facebook. This allows us to just be responsive on social media once the posts launch versus having to live post!
I am a huge Later fan when it comes to social media scheduling. There are so many things I like about Later are; *Grid previews for Instagram posts *Its ability to schedule Instagram Stories *Supports Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn *Can schedule content on TikTok and Pinterest as well *Powerful Link-in-bio tool *Team feature and affordable pricing *User-generated content and Instagram hashtags *Drag and drop calendar feature and so on
There are a few things if Later can add to their platform, then it would be just awesome. Those are: *If they can add bulk scheduling to social media channels * Allow uploading files of any size *
With Later, I manage the social media channels of my agency and clients. This tool proved to be a real-time saver. You can schedule content months before and chill and focus on other aspects of your business.
I like that you can schedule all of your posts and visualize on the calendar. Everything is seamless and integrates with Instagram and you can use it with other platforms.
Limited options on the free plan, but still works great. I don't really have any other issues besides limited posts.
Scheduling organic social. Benefit is having everything scheduled in one place and being able to work in advance.
I oversee the social media account for our nonprofit. For us, that includes Facebook and Instagram. Later has been an asset to our team. It allows planning and scheduling insanely easy. We can store any potential graphics in the media library and pull them out whenever our engagement or content is lacking.
Our main problem with Later is not even Later's fault; it is Instagram/Facebooks' lack of quality connectivity. Unfortunately, at the moment, we are unable to auto-publish carousels or multiple photo posts. This means, staff or volunteers must manually push and post content. The same complaint extends to video and IGTVs with covers or thumbnails. It seems there are a handful of bugs to work out, but a simple photo and caption post is a breeze!
Later has saved us a lot of headaches with our overall social media 'theme'. We love that we can schedule posts months in advance and see what our feed will look like as a whole. We love to keep a balanced profile page, so this provides an excellent visual for us, allowing us to see if our colors are balanced, if we need to add more videos, graphics, real photos, etc.
When I first started using Later I loved the simplicity and visually seeing what your Instagram feed would look. This is good if you're all about aesthetic.
There's nothing that I dislike. The only thing I can think of is sometimes your pages have to reconnect with notice and this will cause for your content not to post at the scheduled time.
Not being consistent is a major problem, but Later allows for me to schedule content ( Photos and Videos) ahead of time.
It's pretty seamless to add content and schedule it on the platform. The way your notes turn into the caption and the link in bio feature is right there when scheduling it spectacular and makes it for far quicker to schedule than other alternatives.
I would love it if the calendar could also be used to add drafts, right now the drafts can't be added on the calendar feature only the schedule posts can. Therefore, it's harder to view how the week planned ahead will look like unless it is scheduled.
Instagram Link in bio. Before, we used a different competitor but Later's link in bio is cleaner and better than the alternative.
The ability we have to implement our social media campaigns all at once across multiple platforms.
The limitation of the number of photos or videos allowed in a post.
It saves us a lot of time since we can post our content to multiple platforms at once. This allows us more time for content creation and other tasks.
I love that Later is "approved" by instagram, meaning scheduled posts won't be hidden and considered posted by a third party app by Instagram and will still show up in people's feeds. it is also super easy to schedule posts and drag and drop media in, add locations, hashtags, and link in bio.
The only downside is that carousel posts with multiple images do not auto publish. you still have to open Later and hit post and download images to your phone to post them.
I usually need to schedule 2 months of posts ahead of time for my client and Later makes it fast and easy to do so. I can see my media library and used and unused images easily. There is also a great tool to find popular relevant hashtags.
