Klaviyo is a robust email platform that helps to manage campaign & automation email campaigns.
The only thing I dislike about the platform is the ability to create a campaign right from a template. You have to back out of templates and start the campaign only under "campaign" tab.

How easy it is to automate email personalization with flows.
Permission settings aren't strong enough. We want our marketing specialists to be data-driven without giving them access to everything. I want them to be able to access the dashboard (aggregated campaign data), but not necessarily everything within the individual profiles. I also want to be able to use "tags" in more of the reporting & analytics features.
We're making our email process more efficient. And, the best thing, is that it's helping us be more data-driven in our decision-making.
I like the fact that Klaviyo lets you dynamically tag emails for better readouts on metrics for our marketing efforts. Being able to sort and filter by these metrics have saved a ton of hours and have put us ahead of schedule with our productivity.
MY only dislike is that I didn't really have a full scope of how Klaviyo could help companies - this is why I've had such a good time at the conference! It was great to hear other success stories and leave with some new ideas to implement back at the office.
We have made our email flows more efficient with the dynamic tagging option - this saved a ton of time and allowed to focus on other aspects of outreach that were falling behind.
Intuitive, user-friendly, speedy. I also love the education/customer support surrounding it.
Small, buggy things; getting booted out of a shell creation before the copy is inputting, or the way bullet points render in the body of an email (with too much space). Again, small stuff.
We're really learning a lot more about segmenting and personalized sends, which will really improve how we cater offers to folks. We've done a lot of SL testing that has provided interesting tidbits galore.
My focus has been primarily product based, but I have stepped in recently to optimize our customer retention ans acquisition strategy. Klaviyo has supercharged the transition with an extremely user friendly and data driven tool. Segmentation and on line behavior have been particularly helpful.
Lack of reporting tools requires data exports into external BI tools.

Klaviyo offers all the email marketing functionality you can think of. For Shopify owners, integration is easy and the data/functionality carries over seamlessly.
To access deeper insights on the data, it can sometimes be hard to find those specific data points. You don't have access to all the data while working on your Campaigns/Flows, yet that data is available somewhere else on the platform. This creates a disjointed experience
Klaviyo offers a highly direct and relevant communication channel between your company and customers, we have gained valuable insight about our user behavior and have directly benefitted from sales.

Klaviyo makes it incredibly easy for people who are new to email marketing to make the most out of the channel. The templates, flows, and segmentation builder are all great.
There are some features that could be improved, like the analytics and reporting.
We are figuring out how to successfully personalize emails using our Klaviyo data. This is helping us to communicate with consumers in a more efficient way.
What I find most helpful about Klaviyo is the amount of data that you can see about your campaigns and sales channels.
The price is a bit steep compared to other marketing tools that I have used in the past. This is also one of the only reasons why my clients hesitate in moving over to Klaviyo from other platforms.

Our flows have been instrumental to automating our marketing. We've increased our abandoned cart recovery rate.
I like the in-depth ability to segment customers to almost anything you can think of in relations to your eCommerce store (ie. first-time buyers, haven't purchased in over 6 months, lives in a certain area, etc.) or even any applications associated to the site (loyalty program). Being able to take that information and create intuitive workflows (ie. abandon cart, welcome emails, repurchase reminder, win-back customer, product review, etc.) to better target your customers.
This isn't a dislike as more as 'it would be nice' to have the gif creating option, in the campaigns. To create fun moving objects or products in the email. I see many other companies do this and I'm sure this is hardcoded to have this ability but to have something streamline like and be able to do this could potentially increase my engagement even more.
The main problem we faced prior was low customer engagement, now with the system, our engagement levels have increased, we can see the behaviours and make adjustments accordingly to increase product revenue.
Segmenting options. I can look at very specific audiences.
Cant upload my email lists. Not a ton of new learning or updates or recommendations for improvement.
Trying to create better funnels. There is great segmentation but I feel like there's also a lot im missing
The built in templates make it very easy to create newsletters and emails to clients. It took me less than 30 minutes to design and send my first newsletter
It was a little tricky importing and managing my client list to send out the email.
