It is a great marketing tool and really useful. It has so many features and is great to have with all in the one place.

It has similar features to other competitors, but the price per month is outrageous. You either have a reasonable price package with almost nothing included or over a top price package ($1K per month) with what you need to be included. Nothing in the middle or fairly priced and it just doesn't seem right... so much so I actually thought I had an experienced sales rep on the call, but it's actually what their prices are.

You don't have to have extensive experience to make changes. The system takes you right to the page and provides access to their knowledge base documentation that is very well written and easy to follow. Their guides not only help you resolve the highlighted issue, but they educate you on the importance of making sure your content is optimized and provide examples beyond just correcting it. They clearly outline the value of your time and effort.

It was difficult to find images requiring updates if they were within custom pages and used multiple times. The system usually allows you to click to correct the page from the page but for these, you had to find them. However, the issues stayed flagged until resolved and after becoming more familiar with the system, it was easier to find and correct the images. Depending on the complexity of your process and tracking needs/requirements, you may still need some level of programmer/developer support to complete landing pages. It would be great to add more of the "easy to use" features so we could eliminate the more costly resources and still accomplish the content/sales lead gen goals. There aren't controls or forced structure for storing images, files, etc. which when multiple people are adding content can get a little unorganized lacking consistent logic or naming rules. It would be great if this structure could exist in the system OOTB while allowing flexibility for more advanced organizations. Creating the structure after the fact takes a little bit of work and requires updating content/pages to prevent broken links, etc. - something the novice user would know to avoid but the beginner may not recognize right away.

Improve our SEO results without developer effort or making major changes to the website content. Too early to tell, but now all published content contains optimized attributes and tags before we publish it live thus saving us a lot of rework and wasted effort. Their educational approach makes them more of a partner by providing us the knowledge and training we need to be successful going forward without costing us additional expense. We were able to use their drag and drop features to design and publish our blog pages and create sales lead landing pages. We were able to shift work off our development team and into the product/marketing team so each team can focus on their key goals and deliverables. It also streamlined our processes so there weren't unnecessary stop/gap periods while we waited for other teams to complete their step in the content delivery; one team owns it from start to finish.

Hubspot gave me the ability to create a website in a short space of time, by myself, which looks like a team of people have been working on it for months. As ex-website agency, I couldn't believe the amount of time wasted in the past, planning, mapping out websites, when tools like Hubspot make the process feel so effortless. It's optimised for mobile and easy to amend.

The go-live process was a little unclear, and we still have some domain issues, which no-one seems able to identify. Also, the monthly fee to manage the website feels like a kick in the teeth, when our monthly bill after our startup discount is used up is going to be crazy amount. With an agency background, £300 per month seems a little steep, when already paying the Enterprise amount.

We're a small start-up, so outsourcing our website design and build wasn't an option. Hubspot has allowed me to create a fully agile website, adding new pages as I go, updating the nav, footer effortless, which, in my agency experience, was often a long and tiring process. I also loved the available templates and Hubspot blogs for best practice. No point re-inventing the wheel when it comes to website page layout.

The HubSpot CMS is an integrated marketing and sales system that doesn't require tools/plugins/zaps. TLDR: If you want the ease of CMS use for both marketing and sales and great support, move/stick to Hubspot, because you get a CMS integrated with a CRM. You see, I hate plugins/updates and security vulnerabilities and the fact that HubSpot gives the feel-good factors to all these (provided you're technically sound) is pure joy. How about modular programming fragmentation, as well as removing web-hosting hassles? You get the feel-good factors on Hubspot CMS hub too. I said too much, but I can't hide these feelings.

Please add a class option to drag-and-drop sections (dnd_sections) at least. I'm not kidding, but that's just one of my few dislikes. Lack of enough control (flexibility). We want more design freedom like adding the aforementioned class. I don't have to do a workaround for that. Design freedom could also mean adding a tablet and large screen breakpoint, instead of the current mobile and desktop responsive breakpoints. A targetable dnd_section class (I'll leave your dev ops with figuring out what they do with their !important CSS rules) can cover the lack of sufficient design breakpoints for now.

Modular programming - HubSpot CMS Hub subdivides complex web applications into separate sub-programs or fragments called HTML-hubl modules. These modules easily integrate with your preferred frameworks and could also be made to look like you want them. These benefits me in a way that I could easily thinker a performant application that could rank quickly on search engines. For example, using a require_js block to enqueue my javascript code and load the javascript asynchronously allows the script to be executed as soon as it’s ready while HTML parsing could continue. I might as well need a healthier-than-thou plugin for these on some fancy platforms, but could be done with one line of code on Hubspot CMS hub.

The customer service representatives are phenomenal with anything and everything. They have always walked me through every piece of assistance they offer to ensure I can navigate on my own in the future! I've waited a few minutes before a customer support representative picked up but I have been on the receiving end of the 100% supportive assistance they offer and am astounded at how encouraging, positive, and ultimately ALWAYS helpful they are – every single time I've called in for assistance!

As a co-manager of my department with minimal time to research what it would take to set up a website on a different platform, I do feel a sense of responsibility to manage the budget... HubSpot is a big cost on a monthly basis while other platforms are much less costly. Our team deems the cost absolutely worth it so have not taken any opportunities to seek a new host in order to save our department the cost.

I love being able to create custom-designed pages using Design Tools - it's easy to use and works similarly to a drag and drop editor. It takes less than an hour to create the pages that we want to create for our site. The ability to preview what your page looks like on mobile, desktop and tablet is also incredibly helpful. I'm particularly excited about the Optimize section of the page builder - it's an extremely handy checklist to review before publishing to ensure that you are going to hit all of the boxes with Google.

I wish that I could edit more content directly on the front end without having to use Design tools as much. For example, being able to edit the background colors of blocks and sections directly on the front end would save a lot of time. On the same note, it'd be great to see a drag and drop feature directly on the front end without needing to step into Design Tools at all (similarly to Wix for example) I dislike that we can't edit the mobile version of the site at the cost that we are at. Editing the mobile version of a site should be a basic feature as it is in nearly every other program I've used to date. I also wish that it was possible to have pages be live but not crawled/indexed by Google. It'd be great if there was a toggle that we could press directly in the Settings section of each page. This would be beneficial for all of the gated website content that we create. Another thing that I feel like CMS in lacking is the ability to create a membership section of the site. Membership programs/pricing is very popular and I think that HubSpots marketing platform is way better than Kajabi's for instance, but if someone wanted to offer a membership/gated content, they'd now need two different platforms.

We've avoided needing to hire a full on developer to create the content that we need. Once you get the hang of using the CMS system, you're able to create pages relatively quickly without needing to have a lot of coding knowledge. This helps keep ours costs down while still being able to create content at high speed. We've also been able to rank on Google since using HubSpot. The Optimize section of the page builder is super helpful for making sure that we are hitting all the marks with Google. We are seeing ourselves on the first page of Google and ranking for more keywords than we were on a different platform.

Qu'est-ce que tu aimes le plus dans HubSpot Hub CMS ?

Hubspot collects a lot of information in a dashboard within Wordpress backends, which is what our company specializes in. It collects and routes forms, has an analytics system that shows data on those collections, and helps to create marketing automation processes which can be really helpful. If you're starting from zero, this is a great building block. The form creation, editing, submission collections, and analytics around that is probably the single best part of the platform. It can also suggest and help to create landing pages, marketing automation emails, and inbound marketing lead generation hooks. All of this might seem pretty easy, but it's helpful to have a piece of software making the recommendations based on analytics instead of just pre-supposing what is needed in the next step. For years, we utilized the free version of Hubspot so that we could take advantage of these featured. Unfortunately, at some point, you're going to hit a ceiling of what is possible with this system. That's a pretty minor criticism, it's a great tool depending upon your level of marketing sophistication. For the vast majority of small businesses, this is going to be a great tool. I do not suggest the paid version, as it is quite expensive and it sort of locks you into a specific type/mode of marketing. I like the agility of being able to create different solutions. As a tool, it has its uses, but businesses should evaluate other options too. Just because it is free does not mean it is the only option.

The paid version is extremely expensive. I'm not a big fan of paying exorbitant fees for marketing automation software and none of my clients use this. There's not a lot about the system to dislike if you're new to the marketing world. Having to get clients to pay for their own account, login to it, and have a whole team that develops the "solution" on their site is a huge pain. It requires more work from the client than most are comfortable with and incurs additional costs that do not obviously help the client or the agency - only Hubspot. I get why they do it this way, and certainly for some clients it is well worth the cost, but for our purposes it was a tough sell.

We used to use it quite a bit for form submissions collection, routing to the client, and analysis of results. It did enable us to diagnose some issues quickly, which was very helpful. Ultimately, it did help us to ensure clients were getting the leads they wanted quickly and responding to them quickly. When it came time to stop using it, we weren't thrilled about it. It had made life pretty easy - so it was hard to separate.

Hubspot's marketing and sales professional platforms are both robust and easy-to-use. I love the insight I gain in regards to where our inbound leads are coming from, as well as the ability to gauge how active and interested our contacts are in our content and services. The automation tools — workflows (marketing) and sequences (sales) — are major time-savers that allow us to standardize our process and scale our outreach. The customization and personalization options in both also allow us to scale without sacrificing that personal touch and human insight. I also LOVED the Hubspot user onboarding process. I think it's one of the best in the SaaS arena. They are really committed to making sure their users understand and make full use of their product. For the first 90 days of your contract, they provide you with weekly meetings with an onboarding specialist to answer your questions, offer feedback and best practices, and troubleshoot with you.

The biggest downside to Hubspot is that it's clearly a growing product (which is also sort of an upside). Sometimes things break or are inconsistent as they make changes and add new features. But their support team is super responsive and they are very proactive in addressing customer issues. If I were going to create a wishlist for things they would improve upon, I'd ask for conditional fields on records, even greater customization options in reporting, a more robust social listening tool, expansion of the marketing project management tool (it's nice, but basic - would love to see it move closer to something like Asana).

Hubspot has enabled us to scale faster and more cost-effectively. The automation features along with the comprehensive picture of our contacts and marketing/sales processes have been incredibly valuable in helping our small team do more with less. And the insight we gain into what's working, where our contacts are coming from, and who's most likely ready to buy allow us to focus our efforts on the work that's most likely to drive revenue. Plus, the productivity and monitoring capabilities help us stay on track and on task.
