Very Quick integration process, didn't take more than a couple of hours

Support timings could definitely be better

After a lot of market research, we landed on Cometchat and it's been every worth of the penny yet :) Love love love role based access. Had it not been for cometchat to give this features, we would have to hire another developer which needles to say would have been time consuming and expensive

The additional features and Customer Support on the last update

There isn't really anything I dislike for now. We had a glitch a few months ago but a call to CS and we were up and running in no time

It comes with better Features and more customizable

We decided to create a website where our large family and all its distance members could know more about our ancestors and we later added CometChat so that all of us could communicate. It has helped us connect with long cousins and also plan family get togethers. It has been a great addition to our website. It was easy to customize and match our websites theme. We love CometChat and would recommend it everyone looking for a chat integration.

Video file thumbnails and URL favicons are auto-generated by their system. Definitely a plus point.

Flutter SDK, being new, is a little unpolished. Constantly have to keep an eye out for changelogs.

Our entire chat system was built on CometChat, removing the hassle of setting things up from scratch, which enabled us to focus more on developing other in-house features

Customer support is very very good, they respond immediately to any of the queries, tech support, or concerns we have. Their SDKs and APIs are straightforward to integrate and very flexible.

Their SDKs should be improved to support all the functionalities similar to API. Specific data is not available in SDK which is in API. A few UI functionalities are also missing in SDK like reacting to a message. The current reporting functionality is adequate but needs to improve on the ability to generate reports with more details.

Cometchat is really helpful in enabling chat functionalities in websites or mobile apps instead of building chat functionality from scratch. It helped to launch our product quickly to the market.

Its interface is quite simple and practical, which makes it very easy for me to use it without having to resort to various submenus to be able to use all its functions, the fact that it can send images, videos and notes of Voice is very useful for me to respond in a much more dynamic and individualized way to my patients, which is also an excellent way to keep a more orderly control of my private practice appointments, as well as allowing me to make video calls with my patients to a very good quality, allowing me to track my successive consultations in this way, in terms of performance I can say that both in its web version and in its application for phones it is quite stable and does not present any flaws, so my experience as a user was quite positive in this regard.

It may be somewhat expensive compared to other similar options, however you pay for what you have in operation, the only thing that for me was a resounding NOT is their customer service, they take forever to give answers to the doubts that arise, which in my opinion should not last that long.

It has been very useful for me to migrate and carry out the consultations of my patients in this way, since in the clinic where I work several of my colleagues already used this application for the management of their patients and had been recommending it to me However, I was somewhat reluctant to migrate to this application until I decided to give it a try and I must say that I am quite pleased, since everything works perfectly for me, it adapts perfectly to me and my patients, it is quite practical and useful .

It has allowed me to install an online chat on my websites to achieve better communication with the users of my websites, in addition, the installation process is quite easy, fast and simple to perform only enough to perform a few initial configurations and it is ready to use without any problems, in addition, this chat not only works perfectly for text conversations, but also has the particularity that it allows me to establish communications via video calls or teleconferences with a very Good resolution

It is somewhat expensive for startups, and their customer service is quite slow to respond to my requests (however simple they may be).

Has lots of features compared to some of the competitor .

The lack of real support and the fact that it actually doesn't work as advertised , their integration with some of the scripts they say it works with just breaks a lots of the site functionality. On our site it breaks some of the SE functions (forums post), i just keep going around in circles with them it's like they don't want to help or even worse have no idea . Asked if they tested their integration with forum , never got an answer to that , they didn't even bothered to check on their own demo site .

I love the Inbuilt Monetization Features above all other features.

There is a small delay in between Emails as they are based out of India. It's a mere inconvenience nothing major for us.

We initially bought CometChat to just add Chat to our website, Later with their inbuilt Monetization features we discovered that we could use CometChat to earn money from our website. We have adopted CometChat into our business model and it has helped us grow. Its a worth it product.

Gives us a quick response to the needs of communication of our customers (personal trainers and health advisors) to their customers. SInce we develop white-label apps we can implement the service quick and easily

We tried out comet chat for their Audio-Video calling service, and their chat SDK. The developer experience especially with the Chat SDK was great, also its performance was quite decent - but our user base was not very huge, so not sure how well it scales. Also, there was a bug so we raised an issue on GitHub and it was resolved within 10-15 days with a new release. The documentation is great and easy to follow. We tried 3 different options and Cometchat's Chat SDK was the easiest to integrate.

It seems a bit pricy, and it might be fine with a small scale but with a larger scale, the cost might compound.

Comechat provides Audio-Video & Chat services, which enables us to use them directly instead of building from scratch and take the load off our backend and database servers.
