While DNC numbers were blocked, I didn't like it. But once I unlocked them, Cognism has everything I need and is 97% accurate. World-class.
Occaisional wrong person with the same exact name.

The user interface and the sales navigator extension are clear and easy to navigate.

Cognism has been helpful in making the exporting of leads into the CRM much easier. Which helps a lot in meeting targets. Competitors probably wouldn't be able to do it as well.
No dislikes of cognism, everything works well,support is good. But sometimes the exporting doesn't work entirely as expected.
Easy exporting of Linkedin leads into CRM, also finding new business leads. This benefits me and the company by increasing the frequency of conversations with customers each day.
The best tool I've used in this space for sales teams prospecting + looking for contact information for decision makers outside of the US and Canada, information is accurate most of the time
The UX feels a bit legacy and could do with being updated. It's too bad, and it all works fine; just something that comes to mind when I'm on the dashboard
I've found many of these tools focus pretty heavily on the US market and larger companies. Cognism is great for reps in the SMB segment prospecting smaller accounts
Cognism gives fast, easy to use access to the sorts of decision makers we need to target. Building lists is super easy and the accuracy of the data looks strong so far.
The out of the box functionality does not allow us to port data into our locally hosted instance of MS Dynamics as it only supports the hosted 365 instances. That said, we are able to export as CSV and upload that way.
We are looking to book more qualified meetings with organisations that can consume our services. Our sales team needs quality data in order to do this and Cognism so far seems to be fitting the brief.

I like the fact that cognism is just a click of a button and doesnt confuse anything,
The thing I dislike is that sometimes you press redeem to get the data but there is nothing there.
Using cognism has helped with more connections to prospects.
I like the chrome extension to quickly add the person to my Salesforce account.
There was sometimes a bug when using it but with good connection it has been solved quickly.
I can prospect quicker without searching for hours through the internet to find the right contact number and email address for the person I want to talk to

Apart from the software product, the customer success support team were great, special mention to Bansi Kakad for all her help and support. She was amazing.
We have a niche business and finding potential clients can be difficult using the software. I would say that the Cognism team did use the expert skills to help get us a target list that matched our profile. Thank you.
New client outreach. Somewhat, our business was targeting a specific group of client companies that any outreach software might find hard to source. Also the fact that were are in the COVID pandemic where many businesses were preoccupied with keeping going and managing cashflow could account for the slow response.
Prior to using Cognism, it was a very manual process for us in the business development department when doing our lead generation. Sometimes the data we found wasn't the best and it took up so much of our time which was probably the best thing Cognism solved for us. I like how there are many filters and we can search for our targeted personas and the data is normally great.
There used to be very little mobile numbers and direct dials in Cognism but they have worked towards changing this and recently I have been impressed with this. We have had some bounces on emails also recently but this could be attributed to the worldwide pandemic and things constantly changing. Another thing to note is that sometimes the filters can pull data from other industries. Luckily we have a great CSM who we can approach with this and he can add credits back on if we provide evidence of these leads.
We are saving a lot of time and getting better quality data and leads in a very easy way.
The ability to generate large number of vertical specific leads quickly and easily. Exporting these leads to CRM with no hiccups. Support team was also excellent.
Sometimes the email addresses or phone numbers of generated leads were incorrect, however this is to be expected with large scale lead gen.

Chrome extension is incredibly easy to use, rare for it not to provide some form of contact detail.
Fantastic for US contacts however, not as strong in DACH. Limited intent data.

It tends to find numbers which are GDPR friendly, like offices and business phones. By comparison, a number of its competitors do not which can lead to obvious problems.
I sometimes find that cognism does not provide a lot of phone numbers, even though the ones it does provide are of good quality. This can sometimes lead to me using competitor platforms to subsidise.
Sometimes it can be difficult to work out the correct channels to contact people through which I feel cognism handles well. It is usually able to provide at least a correct email address.
