Bullhorn allows our entire company to quickly and efficiently share data about the job orders we receive, or the candidates we're trying to place. This is especially beneficial with a company like ours that has offices throughout the country and aboard.
At times, the Bullhorn API can be a bit clunky, this makes it difficult to integrate with third party apps and software.
Bullhorn allows us to get more accurate reporting on our business efforts. This has allowed us to streamline processes and optimize our efforts leading to greater ROI for our efforts.
This product is perfect if you run a staffing firm.
They don't have training on video. If you have turnover, which most agencies do, there isn't a video library that a new recruiter can go and get trained up.
a lot better collaboration between recruiters and our sales team.
I like that it is a full service database and serves all of our needs.
I think the search features could be more user friendly.
It allows us to have most everything in one place and syncs with LinkedIn.
Solid baseline off the shelf functionality, good customer support, reasonable price.
Very unstructured database and field associations, almost too flexible. Some key features are hard-coded and cannot be changed from the administrative workflow.
Electronic/web time-cards for consultants and their manager approving.
very easy to customise the system, in the could
I liked it from to start, so nothing negative to say
fast recruitment process
-Integrates well to Outlook -Small failure rate -Solid ATS -Consistent
-Only able to open up 1 type of screen (candidate/client/job/etc) at a time -Unable to run mass amounts of data quickly
We solve other companies' staffing needs. Through BH we are able to keep track of everything we need in a well organized manner.
Ability to keep great records, and collaboaret across non local teams of sles people and recruiters. Also, I like that we can build customizable tags and fields to accommodate or streamline our processes.
Reporting capacities - They are very basic, and do not work well for a staffing agency trying to keep a close eye on recruiter productivity and relate metrics to the job worked on.
Lots of benefits to a centralized ATS, with access allowed to all recruiters and sales people. Job descriptions change, interviews give visibility on hiring needs, and recruiters need to be notified of updates in real time. BH allows for all that.
What makes Bullhorn stand out among its CRM competitors is that it balances an intuitive, beautiful interface with powerful built-in functionality and vast development capabilities.
Bullhorn offers its users an open development platform, so the opportunities to build and connect with the CRM are pretty much limitless. That being said, because of this there are not too many existing plug-and-play integration options.
With the organization that we have as a result of using Bullhorn we are able to streamline our sales process and utilize new tools that are allowing us to work more efficiently.
How organised it keeps me & keeps track
Not knowing how to use the tool to full potential
Very beneficial as jobscience keeps track of all my candidates and where they are going to too,
I very much like how focussed Jobscience is focussed on recruitment. The typical Salesforce platform is great but not specifically for recruiters and it is very useful in this sense.
I would like a better system for logging calls, call backs and leaving notes around prospect clients. This is quite a messy system and I would like to see this improved.
Using jobscience allows me to quickly manage my clients and candidates and it makes the whole process very easy.
Jobscience allowed our organization to consolidate all of our data into one application. It is an intuitive CRM and allowed our team to perform searches with ease!
Learning a new CRM is always a daunting task. When you're in a sales role, you don't have much time to devote to learning a new system, but Jobscience was a breeze!
The most frequent problem in our organization was tracking everyone's communication with our various clients, leads, candidates etc. Jobscience made it easy to view my entire teams communication.
How customizable it is. Whatever your TA needs, wants, and desires, Jobsience is able to perform. The very best part of Jobscience in my opinion is their amazing customer support: they're all over whatever issues you have.
My main gripe is that if you are hiring for the same position across multiple locations, there isn't a good way to distinguish which location it's for, so you have to use the location and/or city by the position title (e.g, 'Dentist Tucson' and 'Dentist Phoenix.'
Essentially just the reporting. I like the source reporting because it's completely objective, whereas sourcing reporting from any of the sources always shows said source to be the top source, which I know isn't the case.
I feel like Bullhorn is user friendly for recruiters and sales.
There are a lot of glitches especially when parsing resumes.
Not sure what is being improved- it has been pretty much the same since I started using it.
Bullhorn is easy to navigate and connects/ties in with my other platforms
Bullhorn has lots of technical difficulties. Seems like it goes down once or twice a month atleast
Lets me easily track my candidates
We had a web browser plug in that automatically created a profile and added a resume into our database when looking at resumes on job boards. Also, bullhorn is very easy to use in comparison to other ats's I have used
Search function wasn't very intuitive and I feel didn't always return the results I had searched for (ex - location based searches returned resumes outside of location of intended search)
Creating a database of candidates to use in the future. Track open jobs. Track candidates or gross through recruiting life cycle. As a manager, track recruiter activity
The filtering function is great and super user friendly
There are a lot of steps to export candidates when needed
We were able to more easily find candidates for roles
The vast array of fully integrated partners. Forward-thinking technology and overall mentality. Herefish element.
Implementation of the full Bullhorn & Prism (back office) did not go smoothly. Many issues, and/or being told "no, we can't do that," after having been promised certain things initially. Finally seeing some resolution and fixes.
Better searching capabilities and usage of data. Expanding on employee engagement and communication with Herefish. Better matching of candidates based on skills outlined.
Very intuitive when learning and navigating
Crashed from time to time, would lose data when fields were incorrectly filled out, browser it's most compatible with is Internet Explorer, and little glitch-type annoyances
Tracking candidate and client information and interactions in the staffing industry
I liked organizing calls into tearsheets and being able to parse resumes easily
Bullhorn took a while to learn, sometimes resumes would get lost in the cracks
We were parsing resumes from job boards or LinkedIn. We were able to store old resumes and phone numbers to call candidates and record interactions
The front office is very slick. Much more modern than Akken (what we switched from)
The back office is not great. The time and expense sucks, having to manually pull in assignments. Also, when you send a document through the back office there's no notification that it's been signed, so you have to constantly check on it.
i like how the profiles pull info from the resumes and auto-populate
