I have been able to use ActiveCampaign to significantly increase our client base - the offer an impressive and seemingly endless amount of options to engage and reconnect with customers, all easily actioned and integrated with other software programs that you might be using. Joining ActiveCampaign has been one of the best business decisions I made this year.

I can't select the geographical location of where I send my emails to. In Mailchimp I could type a town or postcode, and then send campaigns to a particular radius from this. Although you may argue that this data could have been inaccurate, I had no reason to believe this and I was highly successful in contacting only people who would attend our events in those locations. ActiveCampaign is significantly limited with geographical selection. Some customers don't enter their postcode/ I dont or can't search with postcodes/ I dont want customers to enter too much data on joining/ there are too many options for selecting eg city or location or town and I am finding the only accurate way to send emails with with State. But this is too broad for my clients and some people live across the state. I also would like to see straight away how many people will recieve the campaign (this is how it is in Mailchimp). With AC I have to go into the search and find out and then go back to the campaign and I don't know the final numbers until the end of the email setting up. This could be improved.

Regaining clients: I have only had time to set up AC for attribution so far - but it is highly effective and simple and productive. That I can build leads; automate so much on a highly individual level - is why it is so outstanding in saving me time.

Visitors to our site have a better chance of becoming customers. We get the email notifications we need to make that happen. Clients are reminded of upcoming appointments. Etc etc. We hired someone to set it up for us, so I can't speak to some of the setup. I can only say that using ActiveCampaign allows us to function smoothly and professionally. I cannot imagine having to do all of this by hand.

I do not personally have to send out every individual email for appointment reminders, payment confirmations, etc. I love being able to focus on client connections and our work itself without being tied up with more tedious things.

So easy to do monthly campaigns, so easy to add contacts

It is so robust I feel like I am only using a couple features

Easy to send campaign emails, easy to create the campaigns, easy to send resends to those who have not opened

The number of features outside basic email campaigns is the selling point for me. The powerful automations to really segment and get better insights to our clients individual needs.

The landing page, email and forms designer is fairly basic. Id love to see an integration with Canva.

It has been great having all of our database in one place segmented by lists and then further segmented to send more customized emails at the right times.

The TAGS systems on each contact and the way you create emails

The report system is not complete so that I can make accurate decisions on each contact

It's incredibly flexible. Marketing automation of this complexity used to cost too much for small businesses to afford.

The beneficial flexibility comes with complexity. To use it well, you have to put in the time to learn how to use it well.

Lead nurturing - on a budget.

ActiveCampaign makes it easy for me to send emails to my list on a weekly basis. I can write them in advance and schedule them, and then once sent, receive valuable insight regarding how many people opened my message.

I wish the automations and sequencing were a bit easier to understand, but I think they are things I just need to spend more time on learning.

ActiveCampaign allows me to communicate with my email list on a weekly basis, helping them solve problems they are having with their health and wellness. Email marketing has helped me obtain new clients and serve more people.

Its easy to understand and works really good, i have never had a problem with it.

We like how easy it is to set up. We appreciate the feature where it will contact our customers if we do not hear from them after some time.

We receive many emails from ActiveCampaign not specifically from our marketing efforts.

The problems are when customers are no longer in contact with us. The way that it solves it is that ActiveCampaign will send reminder emails to contact the customers, or you may set it up to send automatic emails.

ActiveCampaign has great time-saving features with campaigns. It was a medium learning curve for me. I used the onboarding process and learned more than I expected, so the support was very helpful. AC migrated my email list as part of onboarding, which was a great perk.

I wish it offered the best time of day to send the email for my market. My former service had that. I can look at what times people open the email, but it is usually soon after I send the email.
