Simple steps to follow with tutorials to get systems set up. I find system intuitive to use with the diagrams that show flows.
Not always easy to find where things are e.g. forms. The titles aren't always descriptive enough for me
Customer communication. Automated systems of communication for onboarding to training programs and supporting through trainings
The integration of functions: CRM, marketing and landing pages
The learning curve required can take sometime
Improving my customer relationship management
I can have a place where I can easily review how my email campaigns are doing, and review if our strategies are working. I also like that we can use AC to automate responses, notifications and interactions with clients.
Is difficult to make changes to a lot of clients at the same time unless you have them already tagged or listed. Also sometimes is difficult to create automation based on responses and no actions.
We are sending massive email campaigns, we keep our database and we manage our marketing strategies using this software. We realized that is easier to have control over who is seeing what in real-time
Complete access to all solutions - nop surprises or up charges. No gotcha's
Learning curve but that is to be expected
Transitioning complete CRM from SalesForce while implementing a new marketing and advertising campaign concurretly - everything is here and accessible by either the greenest of the green or the oldest oak in the forrest.
Easy to use, lots of integrations, great support. A/C has great integrations with the other tools we use, and the one that doesn't have a native integration is easily handled using Zapier.
Nothing, really. We had one technical problem that I now believe was caused by another WordPress plug-in.
We're launching an online course to help people in toxic/abusive relationships get their lives back. The first thing we needed to do was build our list, which was less than 100 when we started. Next, we needed to engage our audience to build relationships with them. ActiveCampaign offers tiered pricing based on the number of contacts, so it was very inexpensive to start. Then, when our list (happily) began to explode, we were able to add on as we went, and this is still happening. I'm somewhat technical, but certainly no developer or anything like that. I find AC very easy to use, and it integrates seamlessly with our WordPress site. We're able to capture leads very effectively, and AC's Automations give us everything we need to customize our audience's journey from first discovering us to signing up for our course.
We've been using ActiveCampaign for several years for a wide variety of clients. It's exceeded our needs and has provided us with additional ideas to implement.
I sometimes struggle getting the exact data I'm looking for from automated campaigns.
Keeping in touch with past customers and nurturing leads in a way that does not take up sales team's limited capacity.
Is easy to use and it has a lot of resources to learn how to use it
Is hard to make changes to your contacts and it does not allow you to merge duplicates
The problem we are solving is the mass email sending, and we have realized that we can check if our emails campaings are working by seeing open rate and click rate
We've been using ActiveCampaign for 6+ years now. Its automation- and logic-building capabilities are second to none and its ability to connect to whatever other cloud platform (that has an API or direct integration) makes this the swiss knife of automation. They focus on what the're really good at: automating sales- and marketing processes and allow to connect any plaforms that is best in other aspects of running a business. I always compare ActiveCampaign as the centrepiece of a jigsaw puzzle that fits in with the other pieces of software that your company uses. ActiveCampaign also allows you to grow in two directions: number of subscribers and functionality, so the initial cost to start is really affordable and you get a lot of value.
Its email builder needs a revamp, but that is going to be solved soon. Custom objects are a real gamechanger, but building a dedicated custom object, specific to your business, is unfortunately only available on enterprise level. This is a pity, as the enterprise tier is a bit of a stretch for smaller businesses.
With ActiveCampaign we've been able to automate many things such as subscription renewals, event subscriptions, purchase follow-up communication. So we achieve better customer intimacy while saving time
ActiveCampaign is the best e-mail automation tool I found
Sometimes visual editor does not offer many options. For example the website pop up form integration is not GDPR compliance (it does not include consent acceptance checkbox). MailChimp tool to create a newsletter is easier to use.
By its automation, ActiveCampaign help me to manage annual customer service renewals. I use AC for sending email campaign, too.
Creating automations is one of the things that I like most. It´s like playing a game. Easy to understand and to run live. Analyzing data is easy and enjoyable.
I would like forms to have more design capabilities. Some of the forms I use are plain text and my designer gets frustrated because it´s not intuitive to change this. I would also like better integration with eCommerce platforms. However, i see Active Campaign as an amazing platform for B2B and digital product selling.
I´m dividing clients in diferent lists and also segmenting them according to behaviors using tags. This solution helps me to create different messages according to the type of client.
They offer monthly training that is included with our monthly charge. What we really like is that they are available to answer questions as they arrive. Usually it's via Chat where they send photos or video of our actual account showing how to solve the issue. HIghly recommend!
There is not much that we dislike. However, it would be helpful if there was a live person to speak with on short notice instead of having to schedule a call a week or two down the road. We need more assistance creating automation.
We are trying to increase our community, especially during COVID. So, to be able to reach out to a more diverse population spread out throughout the country as opposed to being just local.
Hard to define. The versatility of the program and the outstanding help.
That I did not take the time in the beginning to review the quick course.
I capture prospects and turn them into clients with Deals and customized emails. I built up the CRM using different lists/tags to identify all contact types, even if they did not sign up. I place them in other lists (prospects, collaborations, etc.) that will not distribute any content. This provides a complete CRM for all my connections, and with the Deals, I can stay on top of them as well. Customer Service is top-notch and quick to respond.
Active campaign is an intuitive and powerful tool with great customer support (very quick and accurate) and documentation. They have a pool of templates you can choose from, or build everything from scratch. Endless possibilities make it easy to personalize every campaign which is definitely a great experience for our readers - and that's the only thing that matters at the end. I think the active campaign community is very big and you can find great videos and tutorials on youtube. They also have a mobile app - which is handy.
The UX of the automation section or email template isn't perfect. The dashboard could probably also look a bit more intuitive and more modern, but overall these are tiny things. Would appreciate it if the report sections is nicer and more insightful. The price is high but worth it.
We're personalizing every touchpoint with our customers, giving them a great experience while reading our emails and newsletters. Automated sequences enable our team to have extra time for other activities.
We moved from another email marketing provider to ActiveCampaign in hopes of finding better tools and services that would improve our subscribers' experience beyond an email. Fortunately, the transition was smooth and seamless. At CodersLink, we take advantage of every aspect of the platform and we have the dedicated team at ActiveCampaign to take our strategies to the next level. Designing mail campaigns is very simple and its results are remarkable. Just after switching from our previous provider, we managed to increase interactions with our broadcasters by 35%, and saw a 20% increase in Open Rates. Subscribers are much easier to manage with all the tools available and we now have far fewer disengaged users on our lists.
Some integrations are not native and require using third party software like Zappier to connect the services to ActiveCampaign and in some cases this can require much more time and technical staff. Although it is possible to import templates or emails in HTML format from other platforms, they could improve and expand the possibilities of native design to make emails more original and innovative.
Subscriber management used to be a tedious task, but with ActiveCampaign automations it has been possible to improve and keep our lists clean of inactive or disengaged users. We take great advantage of email chain automations for new user acquisition campaigns. This helps us improve your platform experience and deliver messages tailored to your needs every step of the way. The delivery range is higher than our previous supplier. Compatibility bugs with mail services are almost zero, and open rates are 20% higher than before.
I really appreciated how intuitive and easy to use Active Campaign is. Creating automations was intimidating at first but now I look forward to creating efficient user experiences. I also really like how I can create seamlessly integrated landing pages and opt-in forms. Whenever I've had an issue I've had exceptional customer support.
I think the primary downside of Active Campaign is the fact that sometimes it will time out and I'll need to refresh. Specifically, whenever I duplicate part of automation I'll encounter this issue.
I'm using Active Campaign primarily to have new leads opt-in via a form, have a resource delivered, and then be put in a nurture sequence which eventually points them to my sales page (built in pages). Essentially my entire funnel exhists in Active Campaign and it's so great to have it automated with reports all in one place.
I love the number of automation that can be done in the interface, in addition to customer support, I use CRM, and the email marketing system, compared to the others is one of the most complete
One of the things that annoy me is that I can't easily find the segmentations section to add my clients' subscribers to the corresponding automation. I wish they had an easier system to add subscribers to automation
I have largely automated my clients' systems, so they don't have to worry about sending emails or campaigns to people who are not segmented and classified. It has generated a gain of time for me, and for my clients
I like two things the most, I can't pick one. But, I'll start with the Support provided by Active Campaign. I've never had to wait long for support, and they talk to me via non-tech English! There have been times that I've asked them to review an automation or look at a problem I'm having formatting an email - I've NEVER been made to feel like I'm wasting their time or that I'm asking a stupid question. Features - they just keep adding to them. I love the templates, the reports, and the ease of being able to use the features.
This is difficult - but since I have to say something - In the dashboard, it would be helpful to be able to choose a template for an automation that could then be 'tweaked' to work best for our organization. Such as a 'webinar invite' template.
Active Campaign is our only CRM for our clients and potential clients. We use it for Webinar automation (invites/confirmation/reminders/follow up emails) - we use it for nurturing automation for new leads. The reports are helpful to track what our opens/clicks etc.
Agradezco el soporte en español, me parece que fue una buena actualización. Recomiendo tener el blog en español
A veces tienen errores técnicos y tardan en arreglarlo
Hasta ahora con algunas automatizacoones. Estot contenta de los resultados
There are many things that I like; the automation builder, available integrations, and the attractive price point.
I have struggled a bit with the e-mail builder. I would also like to see progressive forms and a way to capture gclid.
I get a marketing automation solution without any major drawbacks at a price point that is truly attractive for a small company like mine (solopreneur)
